Mindfulness: Cultivating a Reverence for Living

Could you use practices and attitudes that would help you cope with stress and open yourself to grace? Practicing self-care is probably one of our most difficult challenges living in our often hurried, frenetic culture. But we can begin to reclaim our lives by participating in our own rescue.
 
Using an integrated mind, body and spirit approach, the program offers practices to help us become present to our own lives and move toward compassion for all beings. Included will be centering meditation, reflection, gentle stretching and strengthening exercises including Qigong, relaxation exercises, and a study of psychological methods for managing anxiety and depression. Participants commit to the six-week series and to 20 minutes of daily practice. If you have health problems consult your physician about any physical limitations.
