| Alternate Handwriting
(2-week series)
Our brains have two hemispheres. The left side is logical, rational and verbal and it controls our dominant writing hand. The right side is intuitive, imaginative and emotional. It’s been called our Inner or Essential Self, and the judgmental left brain often silences it.
Imagine being able to tap into your creativity, your inner peace, your true feelings , your childhood. Through alternate handwriting, you can! You'll learn how you can write yourself a question with your dominant hand and watch your other hand respond with honesty, kindness, courage and humor. The resulting 'dialogues' are often surprising and always insightful. They reflect whole-brain thinking. Betty Rogers, BA, MPA |

| Facilitative Leadership
As leaders, we often feel it is our role to have all the answers and tell others what to do. What if you had another leadership stance that allowed for a more fluid response to complex challenges? Facilitative leadership enables you to create a space in which your team members’ knowledge, experience, and wisdom can be brought to bear fully on the issue at hand, a space where collective intelligence will emerge. Weaving together the soulful and pragmatic dimensions of leadership, this session will explore the four essential tasks of the facilitative leader and the inner challenges behind those tasks. Through interactive discussions and experiential processes, you’ll learn more about yourself as a facilitative leader.

| The Art of Illumination
Praying the Hours, A Litany of Time
(2-week series)
During the Middle Ages, The Belles Heures of the Duc du Berry was commissioned by Jean de France. Called a Book of Hours, this type of devotional book contained illuminated images from the life of the Virgin Mary as a meditational focus for prayer. Using material from contemporary Books of Hours and images from the elegantly illuminated manuscripts of The Belles Heures, we will explore the history of praying the hours, the use of art as an opening to the sacred, and the relevancy of this ancient practice in our modern lives. | The Enlightened Heart
BOOT CAMP FOR THE SOUL:
Waking Up to Who You Really Are
Take the challenge to get your spiritual practice back up and running. During these five sessions we will spend time looking at developing a rhythm and balance in our all too hectic lives. According to Wayne Muller, “Our culture invariably supposes that action and accomplishment are better than rest, that doing something—anything—is better than doing nothing.” It seems there is always something to distract us and knock us off course. In this course we will learn how to establish this rhythm and develop a structure for achieving the balanced life. Topics covered:
