An Evening with a Mystic: Dag Hammarskjöld

The second Secretary-General of the United Nations was known and admired as a peacemaker, but Dag Hammarskjöld concealed a remarkably intense inner life that he recorded over several decades in a journal of poems and spiritual reflections which reveal him also as a mystic.

Peace in Three Steps

3-week series
Peace, in the spiritual sense, is not a mere absence of violence.  Peace is a balance within us, that moves up through personal relationships and results in a commitment to global peace.  “Peace in Three Steps” will be a sampler of Stoic, mystic, psychological and social justice teachings that relate to the subject of peace.

Seton Cove’s 15th Anniversary "Birthday Party"

Seton Cove will culminate its year-long 15th anniversary celebration with a "Birthday Party" at Mercury Hall. Our very special keynoter will be Richard Rohr, OFM, who will speak on what has been our theme throughout this anniversary year: Becoming a Peacemaker from the Inside Out: Cultivating Peace in Self, Family, and Community.
