“Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.” ~Thomas Merton
September equinox marks a shift into the time of year when the Earth invites us to slow down and reap our harvest. At the same time, the modern mainstream world seems to speed us up with the movement into the holiday season.
Join poet, singer, and scholar, Jennifer Bloom for an interactive and co-creative experience to explore practices for creating space and harmony. The class will include a reflective activity (meditation, poetry, writing) to prepare the space within and without to tap into more parts of our brains and beings. Jennifer brings nuggets of wisdom from neuroscience, tools for embracing complexity and creativity in times of change, and mindfulness into the conversation.
