Portal to the Soul: A 3-Part Dreamwork Series with Jungian Analyst, Nancy Dougherty, LCSW, JA

“We have forgotten the age-old fact that God speaks chiefly through dreams and visions. Dreams are invariably seeking to express something that the ego does not know and does not understand.” -C. G. Jung
Dreams speak in the language of the symbol and can be used to identify our defenses and connect us to deeper sources within. Carl Jung writes about the “teleological function of our dreams.” Like a telescope, they can lead us. In this lunchtime series, we will consider how dreams reflect our personal psychology and our spirituality. We’ll explore the structures of our psyches and how they appear in our dreams. Participants will have opportunities to share their dreams, learn to work with them, and receive insights from Nancy and the group.
