Qi Gong Workshop & Bi-Weekly Practice Sessions with Sandra Medina Bocangel, MD

Qi Gong is a branch of traditional Chinese Medicine that is practiced by millions throughout the world every day. It has roots dating back thousands of years. The word “Qi” (chee) means life force energy and the word “Gong” means skill or cultivation. Thus Qi Gong is the cultivation of the life force energy by focusing the mind on breathing deeply while making gentle movements with a focused intention that creates healing potential in the body and allows Qi to circulate in the organs, glands and tissues to maximize their function.
