The Practice of Contemplative Leadership 2017: Developing the Skills of Spiritual Intelligence in order to Become a Transformative Leader

"Spiritual Intelligence is the central and most fundamental of all the intelligences because it becomes the source of guidance for the others."
- Stephen Covey

In this series of six day-long retreats we will examine the 21 skills of spiritual intelligence as set forth by Cindy Wigglesworth in her book SQ 21: The Twenty-One Skills of Spiritual Intelligence. Cindy defines spiritual intelligence as “the ability to behave with wisdom and compassion, while maintaining inner and outer peace, regardless of the situation.” The virtues of wisdom, compassion and equanimity are essential to becoming a fully-developed free-functioning human being and they are what make good leaders great leaders. We will practice the skills that move us in the direction of wisdom, compassion and equanimity and as always our practices will draw on the wisdom of poets, mystics and sages of all traditions.

Participants will have the opportunity to take the SQ21 inventory if they so desire.
